I'm planning on lowering the action on my RR1 this weekend and just had a few questions. I'm going to set it to factory specs to start with and go lower from there if need be. Ideally about how much relief should I have in the neck for factory specs? I'm using 10-46 strings tuned to Eb btw.

I have no idea what factory specs for Jackson are, but truss rods are usually set with between 0.010" relief on the conservative side to 0.000" relief(but no back-bow) on the extreme side. To have zero relief you needs PERFECT frets, and probably a little bit higher action. I'd start with 0.010" and a really low action and see what you think of that.
