Guys,
I have 3 queries about fret buzz which don't seem to be covered on the links page that Sully posted at the top of this section:
1: I have one guitar which buzzes at the lower frets, but most specifically at the fifth fret. It appears that the 6th fret is a little high (it is not loose / un-glued): Should I attempt to dress this fret, and if so, how do I do that? (is it just fine grade sandpaper on a block?)
2: One of my GMWs buzzes quite bad at the low frets - how do I know if this is the neck relief or if the nut needs a shim?
3: To loosen a truss-rod, do you turn in the 'logical' direction (eg clockwise to tighten?)
Thanks
Ian
