Does anyone sell shorter screws for the string retainers on Floyds? I have a real Floyd on a Rhoads that is routed for a Schaller, and when intonated properly you can't pull up.
Thanks
Chris
Yes i think the shorter Schaller string holder locking bolts are too thick for the OFR. For a machinist it is a very easy task to shorten the existing bolts and extend the threads a little. I think it's the only solution to the problem... other than extending the route in the guitar.
Oddly the EVH D-Tuna includes a shorter OFR-style screw, so they have to be available. Wish I could find a stash of them

i had the same problem on my ps-2, i simply cut off the tip of the screws, and re-did them with some hard sandpaper. Works well.
