What's wrong with 10s in D? I've had them on my KE3 and they were a little bit sloppy but still very manageable.

I use 10s mostly for E and Eb tuning. If I played more often (like hours per day or gigged several nights/week), I'd probably use lighter ones.

9's for standard tuning, and 10's for D.

1x 11-52 for D tuning and 2x 10-48 for E.

.11's in standard tuning, occasionally i'll go down to .10's. i also play bass to "warm up" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

9/42 on most of my guitars. 10/46 on a couple.

9's on all my electrics but my LP and I use 10's on it. My acoustics I use 12's, sometimes 13's.

all my gits are standard 64.8mm (25.5") why?

25.5 scale, I use 9-42s, but sometimes 8-38s. 24.75 scale I use 9-42s or 9-46s. On a 25 scale like Carvin, I use 9-42s or 9-46s. Jack.

I have 10-46 on the 24.75 scale and 9-42 on the 25.5 scale.I have everything tune to either E or Eb and one tune to D.

I've been using .010-046 for a while now but I must admit, I'm thinking about going down to .009 set for a few of my guitars. I wonder if I'll break more strings though... [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
