well, I have nothing against high output ones, I always had high output PU's, Steve's Special, the 498T by Gibson, EMG85 etc. I only said that I am not bound to high output PUs.

I thought it over, yes the Tone Zone may be a good choice. Also the Air Norton. The Super 3 is good but, it has a mid scoop. And It's seems that you want to ovoid that. What about Bartolini?
