Had anyone ever seen a Jake e lee style slanted humbucker?

I have this idea where I want to order a blank pick guard and route it single hum, but instead of a normal humbucker, put an 8 string pickup in it at an extremely slanted angle on the Jake e lee orientation. This seems like it could make it like a hybrid - bridge for the bass strings, neck for the treble strings. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Thoughts?
