john.w.lawson is probably right : factory 1993 WAS Schaller/JT590.
But previous owner (or shop) SWAPPED it with a JT580.
Reading this post was clear like water : some ppl done it (one way or another) BUT some got troubles ... like me

Schaller mount is SHORTER than JT580 one
That's why it is almost impossible to intonate this guitar ... since i got it second hand.
Today i disassembled it : no play in neck pocket, only half a millimeter "missing" on knifes (it was "cleaner" than expected) ... and G saddle STILL hitting the read plate (and E very close).
Now reading this was clear like water : this guitar was NOT factory mounted with JT580.
This guitar NEED a Schaller/JT590.
Distance between 12 fret and middle stud is 30 cm.
Can you check yours ? (JT580 and/or JT590/Schaller)
