I'm thinking about getting this https://www.amazon.com/Dopro-Stainle...p?ie=UTF8&th=1 for my Jackson here: https://www.musiciansfriend.com/guit...lectric-guitar. not sure if it will fit though...someone in the comments said, it does not fit a FR2 system and I have no idea what that means, or if I have that type of FR??? Any suggestions?

Hey, thanks for writing. no, not trying to replace the whole system just the saddle blocks and the long saddle screws. I already have titanium ones, I know everyone says those are the hardest, but I've read a few pieces of info that claims stainless steeel can be harder than titanium and I wanted to try it out. I don't have an original system it is a licensed or special. Never got it confirmed though..

On the Amazon link you provided, if you scroll down to the customer reviews and click on the first customer-supplied photo (from reviewer Steven Tarren), you will see a "Jackson by Floyd Rose" trem with the Amazon parts installed.
If your guitar is the JS32 Concorde that you also linked, JS Series Jacksons are equipped with "Jackson by Floyd Rose" trems.
The Amazon product description also says: "Fits for Original Floyd Rose,1000 Series, and Special Series as well as many Floyd Rose licensed Tremolos". The OFR, FR1000, FRSpecial, and "Jackson by Floyd Rose" (which some JCFers speculated are rebranded FRSpecials) all have identical dimensions.
I would buy those Amazon parts with confidence.
Report back afterwards.
The Amazon review from David Chutka mentions it does not fit the Floyd Rose II system. I figured as much, because as Dak mentioned above, the locking bolts are a different design, using shorter fatter bolts. OFR, FR1000, FRSpecial, and "Jackson by Floyd Rose" have locking bolts that are longer and slimmer.Last edited by Number Of The Priest; 01-18-2024, 09:49 PM.
