Ok, is there a difference in the length of the neck heel of a 21 fret vs a 22 fret neck?

Warmoth says no, the 22nd fret is just a tiny overhang of the FRETBOARD and not the neck itself. Take that to the extreme and Warmoth's 24-fret necks have those long fretboard overhangs.

Unfortunately, there are some brands that dont follow Fender's specs, and will have 22 fret necks with no overhang, and aren't 100% compatable with Fender bodies.Comment
