I need to find a whammy bar.

Hello!

I have an old 88 Charvel Model 1A (Strat Style) and it has the original Vintage style tremolo. (The saddles look just like the ones on the new american Strats, hmm. . . *strokes chin*)

I bought the guitar used this summer, without the whammy bar. I have been using this funky Mars Music bar that I got a couple 2 years ago, it fits,but not really well, its actually to low, the knobs get a beating every time I let go of the bar.

I would like to have a correct bar for the tremolo. A Black one.


Does anybody know where I could possibly get one of these bars?

try budman. The threads for traditional trems are the same as the ones for Kahler pros as far as I know. I don't think he offers black though

<font color="aqua">You are correct sir, I don't offer black and the threads are not a standard 10-32 thread like the Kahler pros. If it's the original Import trem, it's Metric. </font>

ah ok.

Its the original Import tremolo. Looks just like a Fender Vintage trem, except for the saddles have a round circle rather than a slot.
