Truss Rod Size help

I have a Japanese made KV-Pro Mustaine that has a bullet truss rod. I'm looking to get a wrench so I can adjust the thing myself without having to go to a tech. The problem is that I'm not sure what size the truss rod is. I know what type of wrench I need, just not the size, so if anyone has any idea...

It's either a 1/4" or 9/32". Make sure you oil it before you start twisting, and go slowly. An 1/8 turn at a time is plenty.

How would I oil it? What kind of oil should I use and how should I apply it?

just a squirt of wd40 will do nicely.

So squirt some WD40 down the truss rod before I turn it...thanks!
