My Floyd Springs sometimes like to hum along, especially on a B note at the 9th fret. Very annoying, especially when amplified.

Put some foam behind the springs, or maybe pipe cleaners inside of the springs.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling. -

I slip a thin piece of foam between the springs and the body. Deadens them bad boys right ut.Scott

I've found that not all springs do this. The springs on my Schaller-equipped NASL do it, but not my JT590'd or Floyded guitars.
I keep meaning to swap the springs around, but never do [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
