Thanks for all the responses. That is a lot of input to go over.....

Has anyone tried the APC pups in an SL2H? I am very tempted to try them out.... I want something that is extremely rip & tear.

Maybe I should check out the "custom" and the "super" I am confused is the Tone Zone any good? hmmmmm

The Tone Zone is good but it's probably the most bassy and mid-filled pickup out there....in other terms...it's an extreme in the spectrum of pickups.

There's other Dimarzios that do the warm/fat chunky sound better IMO.
