I have a OLD Randall RG100Es and lately it started making a buzz crackle kind of sound, if I tap on the HI input it will go away, when I do that I can hear me tap it through the speakers. Also when I pull out the treble for the gain boost if I turn it up I get a nasty squeal/hum even if my guitar volume is off..... have any ideas what could be up? [img]/images/graemlins/help.gif[/img]

unless you are knowlegable about electronics, have a tech look at it-you could get electrocuted nosing around in there. It could be as simple as a worn out jack or loose connection or there could be a faulty component somewhere.Comment
