The j50bc is not my cup of tea in the bridge. in the neck postition it sounds really decent to really nice... little bright, but a nice tonal curve

What midboost system came with the Charvel 4 in stock? If it's the JC1000, does it mean I won't get as good a sound with a duncan distorsion in there?

JE-1200, same as the model 6. Look at the top sticky for the specs on this.

It doesn't have the wiring for HSS with 3 mini switche [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Ah well... But is it worth changing pickups? I like the sound of it at the moment but I'd like more polyvalence (Distortion for bridge, JB Jr for middle and vintage staggered for neck)
