Anyone put some nice locking tuners on an SLSMG yet? Trying to determine if any drilling or alterations is required to slap em in.

Re: Replacement Tuners
Sperzels would require drilling tiny holes in the back of the headstock for the locator pins. These holes wouldn't be visible, but the holes from the locator screws on the Jackson keys would be. You could just leave the screws in there to fill the holes, even though they would serve no functional purpose.
Most 3+3 replacement sets have the set screws oriented 90-degrees from the back side of the center of the post. The stock keys on the SLSMG have set screws oriented at a 45. Just be aware of that before ordering anything.please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking

Re: Replacement Tuners
Thanks necro, I'll keep that in mind while making my purchase. Would be nice if Jackson maybe had some kinda upgradeable parts available. Hate the idea of having holes serving no purpose
