Bill Lawrence pickups

I found a guitar with a Lawrence pickup two blades EMGish textured cover.It says Lawrence in script between the blades.Is this a Bill Lawrence pickup or a copy?It sounds really good, quite full and articulate.The guitar is 150 bucks and probably worth scavenging for parts.If this is a collectible BL pickup I might pick it up.What do you guys think?

Well, I guess there'll be no chance hearing them here in Deutschland. I saw one BL USA on auction and just though try it.
