Gluing in a nut? What type of glue?

Hey all,
I'm working on a project, and I'm wondering what is the best type of glue to use to glue in a new nut? Regular old wood glue?

I've seen this asked before and if I remember correctly, someone stated to just use regular old Elmers glue, not wood glue. The reason being that if you ever decide to remove the new nut, you run less risk of damaging the wood underneath.

Yup, white glue, or Elmer's Glue is the stuff.

There is nothing wrong with using a little drop of CA glue either.

i figure it doesn't really need to be glued on there extra tight either...... it just needs to keep the strings aligned.

Elmers, Titebond, or superglue...a little goes a LOONG way here, just a drop [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
