I need 2 humbuckers for a Carvin project I am working on.
I want a PAF low-medium output. Basically, I am looking for humbuckers that remain clear and almost resist getting distorted. I want to be able to roll my volume and clean my signal up. I will install treble bleeds to retain my highs.
The covered Armstrong pickups that were in my 1995 Jackson AT-1T were perfect. Thats what I want.

That sounds a lot like the Duncan Jazz. I've heard good results from guys using a pair of Jazz humbuckers under heavy gain. I've only used one in the neck, personally. But it stays clear under high gain more so than any other pickup I've used.

John, I've got two creme Carvin C22s that came out of my SC90... C22T and C22N. Interested? I'm looking for $40 each shipped.
I've also got a set of chrome Gibson BurstBucker Pros (Alnico V magnets), $175 for the set.
