J-200 Single Coils and Duncan Bridge Humbuckers

I currently have a Jackson Soloist with J-200 neck & middle single coils and J-80C bridge along with the JE-1000 active electronics. I'm thinking about pulling the active electronics and replacing the J-80 with a seymour duncan JB bridge. I was wondering if anyone thought there would be a problem mixing the J-200 with a Duncan pickup? Or do the J-200 not work without the active electronics? Thanks, Dave

leave the electronics in and just add the duncan, the original Jackson pickups are also passive... The J-200 will work w/o the electronics, but IMO sounds better with [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
