Kahler stringlock to Floyd Locking-nut conversion

Now that I stained the fingerboard and am halfway through stripping the neck paint on my Model 5, it is time to ask some questions about my next plan. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Would I be able to do this at home? What kind of equipment would I need? Which Floyd-nut will I need? R2? R3? Or something else? How would I go about removing the standard nut on my Model 5? I don't care all that much about appearance, it is more of an issue of practicality for me. I would just stick with the Kahler system, but I am a curious person and really want to try Kahler trem+Floyd nut combo. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
