I've got a San Dimas neck that came through with a Kahler lock nut. Someone decided the tremolo needed to be changed to a Floyd Rose. Good idea but was a poor mod at the nut. The neck was drilled to accept the Floyd nut and what I would like to do is have the holes plugged and have the neck properly set up with a Floyd nut that doesnt need to be drilled through the neck. Could it also be possible to stick a Kahler lock nut back as well as a nut before the Kahler? Also, I'm in the Maryland area and would need this done by a tech and certainly not me!
