hello, i was wondering if a really low trem-bar is available for the jt580 on my DKMG...the kind u'd find on an ibanez RG series...those trem-barsd are so much more comfortable. bear in mind that presently my trem bar is screwed in from the outside via a brush...thanks.

Seriously though, if you don't want to bend it, you could cut it off about an inch from the tip and round it off with a file. The previous owner of my Model 6 did that to the trem bar, and I found that I like it a lot that way! It's more out of the way than an uncut bar, and it doesn't poke out as much from the face of the guitar. I can still grab it quickly while playing.
It feels comfortable to me, so I'm actually considering cutting all my trem bars now.
