I know about the differences between the heel width and the body route. But what about the bolt patterns, will they line up? Or will it require a fill and redrill?

Re: Strat neck on a Model series?
what neck do you have? you'll probably be close enough, but i'm not sure if the charvel hole pattern is spaced out wider to accomodate the wider neck heel. then again, a standard neck plate will fit on either, so you may be okay.
in other words, what chuck said!

Re: Strat neck on a Model series?
I don't have the neck, yet. I have a Model 1 and Model 2 project that I'm doing. I changed my mind about the necks and I decided I wanted Strat heads with maple fretboards. I was going to go the Warmoth route. But I thought I might save a little cash and possibly the need to do any kind of fret work by grabbing a used Strat neck. If I get a couple of Strat necks that work, then I'll end up having 3 extra Model series necks that I won't be using (already have one extra )
