Hey, there. I came across Behringer Dual AB footswitch and I want it to work as a channel switch on my Engl Thunder 50. Will it do, or should I get a usual 2 way footswitch? One button fs is not enough for my amp.
Thanks!
Re: Will Behringer AB Dual footswitch work on my amp?
I would say no. That looks like a momentary switching system and you need latching switches. Also, you need one button to connect tip and shield and the other to connect middle and shield on a standard 3 conductor stereo plug.

This will work just fine for standard A/B switching. It is either latching or non-latching. It can also be used as an input selector. Here's a pic of the back:
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Okay, so if I poke a cable from the switch to my amp it should be able to switch from clean/lead and Crunch/Lead?
I heard that you can use this thing to input two guitars in an amp. Is this a good idea?
