Dimarzio X2n in a 1970 Les Paul Custom

Anyone ever try this? I'm looking for a beefy gain.

I was think about getting a Old school dirty finger but I remembered this.

Also what would you recomend for a neck and middle pickup?
I want to make my LP full glory again.

Also, the nut on my guitar is shitty, do most local guitar shops have nuts to cut? What about those brass ones that come up on ebay?

An X2N in a Les Paul would be killer, especially with a Super 2 in the neck! A Humbucker From Hell would be awesome for the middle, too, IMO.

You can buy a brass nut preslotted-ready to install. Pickups are such a subjective thing.. but I think an X2N would be a cool pup in an LP. A super 2 or super 3 would probably be a good neck match.
