Hey, maybe you could build a case out of egg shells??? Just make sure to use the ends rather than the sides!!!

Yeah you might have seen us out in back in the feild behind our guitar shop-factory (yes, thats right its a shop-factory) we're making dope so we can get all of our orders done quicker. We;re swamped for the holidays.

Personally, I would get a large piece of styrofoam, bookmatch it, carve out the inside for the guitar, shape the outside as desired, fiberglass it, add hinges and latches, add fabrix inside it and call it a day.
