"Coffee Staining"?

Anyone here ever use the "coffee staining" method to bring out the figuring in a neck?
And if so, will this work on making the flame of a PC1 fingerboard more pronounced in appearance?

heard of it, but various tinted oils (or even the non-tinted ones) will do the same thing, imo.

Watco's Danish oil. They have all kinds of different colors. Most hardware stores carry it.
