I've found that (when cured properly) the inner thighs of virgin cocker spaniels work the best. The tissue has perfect tonal qualities, is soft yet durable, doesn't shrink, an if you get it at the right time of the year it actually helps keep the guitars body wood from drying out. Of course I'm not saying it's ok to go kill a little doggie for this, you must find one that died of natural causes. I've heard that great dane works well too but I've not tried it. Hope this helps.
