I have an "80's 'tar with black tuners that have the 90 degree little screw hole. The keys aren't crown-like. Any ideas what they are. Sorry no pics. Thanks, [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Need Pic! Any labeling on the tuner? It could be a Schaller/Gotoh copy which most likely they are. There are alot of these around these days. Schaller's are 90 degree and some Gotoh's can be found with the 90 degree tab.Tone is like Art: Your opinion is valid. Listen, learn, have fun, draw your own conclusions. -

yea I know. I did pics once but I forgot how to do it.. The guitar is "custom" job dating circa early EVH.. It has a REAL Floyd Rose and an EMG 81. I was told it was a Chandler neck on a Charvel body. Maybe that gives an idea of what would have been used back then.. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]I am a true ass set to this board.Comment
