New Dinky makes a 'creeeekkk' noise

Hello again all,

Thanks for the help on my last post. My new question:

Just bought a new Dinky and when I dive bomb or use the whammy hard the guitar makes a 'creeeeekkkk' noise as if the wood is flexing or something. Is this normal? Should I tighten the bolts that fix the neck to the body or something?

It really sounds like a tree in the wind when the branches 'creekkkk' you know?

you sure it's not the trem springs? that'd be my guess....

my RG does that too.. but I think its because its not exactly level with the guitar, and probably killing the pegs lol.. oh well I dont feel like fixing it unless i sell it

Check to see if the neck screws are lose.

Thanks for the input. Am overseas at the moment. Will try all your suggestions when I return home soon.

I just hope my new Jackson is not a dud (as I love it so).

Does it go out of tune when you do it? Check the neck bolts and the locking nut but, it sounds like the springs. I've had a new guitar arrive with a slightly loose locking nut before and evertime I did a dive I would here this noise. It was the nut moving ever so slightly back and forth.
