Question for Sully

I read your post on using super glue for repairing chips and dings.

My son has a 3 month old Cobalt Swirl DKMG. He dropped the bar on it and put a ding in the front between the pups just below the Hi E, so it's very noticeable. It's about the size of a BB. It's not through the finish.

It broke his heart to have that kind of a blem on his most prized posession,

I understand from your post that it will still be visible after I drop fill it. My question is - does the glue match the clear?

I'm willing to do this if i'm sure that it will match.

as long as the ding is clear coat only, you should be fine; the glue dries clear.
