I am replacing a GMW neck on a guitar, and was wondering what the normal specs are for the average strat that comes out of their shop.
Ideally, I'd like a GMW neck, but they are hard to come by (unless any of you know of a source or are selling one). [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
I will probably be spec'ing out a Musikraft neck. I'll go with a 1 11/16 Floyd nut, strat head, with 2 3/16 heel, 22 frets.
What I am looking for is: what is the typical GMW radius? what size are the frets usually? is the finish just Tung oil? Am I better off going with the Charvel style neck they make - with or without a fretboard extension?
