I had my 1988 Jackson Dinky converted from the Kahler style locking system popular back then to a Floyd Rose locking nut. It is a reverse headstock. I've noticed some slippage towards the bass side of the strings.
Anyone have any advise on how to prevent it from totally fuckin up my neck? Right I'm just loosening the E & A strings after I lock it down so there is not that much tension on the nut.
Would it be worth having a pro punch holes through the neck and install the nut like they did back in the day?
Thanks, Dave
