I have a few questions haha. First, what do you guys think is the best preamp out of an ampeg (billy sheehan model), Rocktron: Blue Thunder, OR a SansAmp?

Second, Could I use my head (Carvin R1000) that I have as a power amp?

Third, I've heard I should get a compresser would this be an efficient investment?

Here's my question for you. If someone tells you what they think is the best preamp, what happens if you hate it when you get it?

Persoanally, I've never really understood this question. I've always thought guitars and gear is a personal thing. I like Boss FX, Mackie mixers, Crown power amps and of course Jackson guitars. Someone else may very well have reasons for hating all of that stuff.

As for your question I'd probably go with the Sansamp. As for the compressor try it and see if you like it. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
