Adhesive removal?

New member here - just bought a year-old Soloist and the previous owner decided to put a huge skull sticker on the body. Got the sticker off but need recommendations about getting the adhesive off that it left behind? Any info??

Goo-Gone for the initial removal.
Wipe clean with isopropyl alcohol.
Polish with your favorite finish polish.

I just used Goo Gone on a trem cover to remove a nasty old sticker. Worked like a charm! Just make sure you clean all the residue off when you're done as Kevan mentioned.
