Does anyone know what kind of pickups Doug Aldrich uses on his Gibson Les Pauls? Thanks.

He WAS using Customs.. I now think he and Reb are using Suhrs.... SSH+ I think.

"Hey guys....Yea Mig, Marco is right....Its a Alnico II in the bridge of the black LP on the WS DVD. well, I changed it to a Suhr last summer for the WS summer tour. Its a great guitar but i am favoring my Gold Top now.

Anyway,i have been a long time Seymour endorsee but John Suhr is a friend of mine and he also does premium work so I wanted to try his PU.
Its a bit hotter than the SD and maybe has some extra ultra highs. I would say to check out the Suhr pick ups and also a SD Custom Custom. Hot with an alnico II Mag."

i just put the custom custom in my sully star and i'm loving it. i like it way more than the regular custom. (at least in this guitar)
