I will be having a replica neck made by Musikraft and would like it to be accurate as possible, so I have some questions for those with multiple hands on experiences with Boogie Body necks. I know the basics, but need more in-depth specs from the elder statesmen:
1) Were most truss rods single, or double action?
2) The nut will be non-locking, what nut material was most commonly used?
3) In regards to rosewood fingerboards, was Brazilian, or Honduras more common?
4) In some photos I have seen, the dots look to be clay. Were clay dots ever used?
5) What was the most common fretboard radius?
6) If given Dunlop frets as a gauge, which fret size was most prevalent?
7) Were brass side markers common, or rare?
Thanks in advance. Everyones input and parts to date, have made this project to date a great experience.
