Barrel input jack

Ive just got a set of EMG's for my WRXT & as usual the input jack needs to be replaced with the one that comes with the EMG's. Now i can't seem to figure out how to loosen the barrel jack currently on the guitar ? how do i dismantle it? Is it all done within the cavity or does the round nut on the outside unscrew? I cant see a way of loosening it on the outside as its not like the regular nut on a common input jack.

Open up the cavity and take a look. They typically have a nut and washer inside the cavity.

If my Kramer can help. The input jack is secrued on the inside with a nut. If that's not the case, get an impact dent puller.
