Ok guys, I got an Alesis F2 expression pedal. This is for an electronic drum set,
I want it to work with the Roland TD-3(electronic drum modulke), and see if it does a better job then the cheap FD series pedals.
Anyhow, I got it working, but it's backwards. Now, there is a polarity selector on the unit itself, but when I switch it, it does nothingt, because the Roland unit doesnt have a stereo input, just the lead and ground.
When I reverse the wires, it doesnt change the polarity, all stays the same. I tried soldering the stereo cable to reverse the wires, but it still stays backwards. Hi hat is open instead of being closed when depressed.
Anyone know how I can change my polairity on the controller so that It works properly, or modify the wiring? Thanks for any help!
