Does anyone have recomendations for a good bass rig compresser? I recently picked up the Billy Sheehan instructional video and he has a whole section on compression, so I figure its something to look in to. I am also wondering if compressing your sound brings out frequencies you cant normally hear very well.

DBX I think any of their line would be a good choice. -
I use a 266XL and it is a pain to play with! It's too easy to get your sound pumping!! The gate on it is a mess, and is worthless! It compresses ok though! Wish I could get around the gate! It's not worth the money I think!Originally posted by jtrI love admins!Comment
