Duncan Pickup ID

From a '90 Archtop Pro
Obviously not original as 90-91 catalog calls for dual J-80c?

Both non-logoed.
Bridge tagged DD-D, blank backplate.
Neck tagged JBJ, obviously a Seymour Duncan per the backplate

Due to the similar tags, I assume they are both Duncans.
Would they need to be measured and is that possible without removing from the circuit?

DD = Distortion aka TB-6

JB = JB

3rd letter = initial of SD employee who wound it. "J" has a great rep BTW.

I don't think it's a wide spaced TB-6; I think it's a regular spaced SH-6.

You don't need to measure - both will be in the mid 16K range (16.4 for the JBJ and about 16.6K for the DD).

I just picked up a 750XL and I'm loving it with a DD in the bridge and a Seymourizer (the DD neck pickup @ 12.4K; not quite as hot as a JB).

How did you like the tone with these pickups? My 750XL is a fixed bridge, and with these pickups, it packs a wollap. I like the tone so much I haven't been able to put it down.

Yup, both E strings are nicely offcenter of the p/u poles lol.

How did you like the tone with these pickups?

Quite honestly, poor guitar was an impulse buy at the time, and sadly I never gave em a chance as I just have no interest in floyds. This guitar more/less hasn't been touched since I got it. But that's OK, just affirms my desire for fixed bridges.
