Is any one else trying their hand at an eriee dess paint job?
I started one today.The body is a Charvel 475,it was painted in black.Sanded it down to a dull condition with 400 grit.Used house of kolor candy silver and blotted it on the body with saran wrap wadded up.Shot a coat of candy blue around the sides and over the front and back of the body kind of a burst type pattern.
Looks pretty cool as is but what color to use next is my problem. The choices are purple,tangerine,green or red.
I'm leaning toward the green but the tangerine looks nice too but not sure whats going to happen when the tangerine hits the blue.

Well I went with candy red coming from the center of the body, darker in the center fading to lighter toward the edge.Not sure what it will look like in the end but thats half the fun.
Someone else try this maybe we will get our own section in the tech area.

Can you take a large, straight on pic of the body at this stage and post it? We might be able to play with some color combinations.

EDIT: never mind, I just now read your second post.
