Well I guess with having some paint left of my Strat building project it was just a matter of time before I decided on a new project to use it in.
That Project turned out to be my long suffering Epiphone Les Paul Custom which has had it's neck replaced and had numorous pickup swaps. That Les Paul was cream in Color but I re-finished it in white. with a funny version of the Jolly Roger on it's lower bout.
So I took the guitar apart, wet sanded the skull off and taped up the binding and the neck (which was a lot of work) and after the cleaning the guitar with white spirit, applied the first layers of Red.
Of course before I did that I made an artist impression to see what my guitar would look like finished and here's the result.
I think it'll look pretty bad ass, don't you guys agree?
