Seymour Duncan Identification.

Myself and Darksaga were trying to figure out what the hell this pickup is. It is a seymour duncan and on the back of the pickup it has a sticker marked DCL.

Any information would be killer. This pickup is just badass and want to get them installed in a few other guitars.

Its a Duncan Custom. DC stands for Duncan Custom. The L is the initial of the person who wound it.

This is the first passive pickup that I have heard that sounds really f'n sweet!!!

I just might try passive pups in some of my guitars besides my EMG's which rule all hell too

Just curious. I have seen someone else say that it was a SH-5. But, the question I have was did the "L" guy only make SH-5 series?

Not sure but I'd assume no....employees probably make batches of each pickup model I'd guess!!
