i have a jackson usa sl2h and would like to know if anyone can offer any advice on swapping out the standard floyd for a floyd rose pro or other similar quality LOW- PROFILE trem. i would like to know if id have to route anything out or if the plate would fit in the current recessed cavity..etc. thanks

I remember an older thread where I dug out my Kramer Proaxe w/the pro and my ESP M1 with the OFR and I measured the same exact stud spacing. We noted at the time the thinner saddles that give the closer string spacing.

You can see how the saddles on the OFR are right next to the stud screw, but the Pro has more room.
