Licensed Floyd to Original Floyd

I'm trying to put together a kit "Charvel" - Strat body, Warmoth Strathead neck, JB pickup, etc. The body and neck I have now are outfitted with a cheapo licensed Floyd. I want to replace it with an Original Floyd - will I have any problem with the routing, nut, etc?

most....thats most, not all, floyd knock offs are to the specs of the OFR abd built with cheap ass metals. You *should* be able to direct drop replace to an OFR.

The locking nut isn't that critical...its the bridge that is the main thing so you could leave the neck nut alone if ya like.

Probably not. But make sure you have the right length block.
