Choosing the right pickup for my Charvel 4

This guitar is new to me and is almost my favorite.. Im wishing the stock bridge pup were alittle less muddy.

What have you guys have good luck with? Is the 4 Alder??

I currently use the following in other guitars:

Im thinking Id like something different.
Considering another Blues saraceno tho too.
Maybe a Bill Lawrence L500?

Any suggestions? What works for you guys/gals??

The body is basswood on the Model 4. I'm a huge fan of the Custom, as well as the Distortion. If you like the Saraceno, but want to try out something different, how about the PATB-2. It's the same concept, but quite a bit hotter, with a ceramic magnet.

The Suhr SSH+ is awesome, and Suhr is probably the finest builder of basswood guitars out there.

Duncan SH/TB-11 (Custom Custom).
Hands down one of the best pups I've heard in a basswood body guitar.

Evos sounded pretty good in my Model 3A.

CC is good but I dont prefer the middy ness of it. Im really leaning towards a Duncan PATB2 or a Bill Lawrence 500.

I have a Genesis Mr Browney in one of my Kramers and it gives me great brown tone.. The blues saraceno duncan is great too but I want more aggressive..
