Seconded, SM57 or Beta 57. I have some clients who like the Beyer M201, but I personally cannot fault the good old Shure! (And they are dirt cheap these days!)So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

57 will work well but does have an annoying uppermidrange freq that you need to notch out sometimes. The Sennheiser e609 is very smooth for just a few buck more.Comment
