Problem rewiring DXMG

I have a set of 81/85s and it has a battery booster 3 place selector. I redid the body and snipped the pickup wires with the plug ends on them...Seemes like a great idea at the time. Well flash to today I rewired and used wiring crimps to re connect them and now voila no power... At that point I realized that the white wire had 2 wires within the insulator... So do I need to reorder the plugs with wires or can i fix this?? Any help is appreciated!
